We are getting married, and we cannot wait to celebrate with the people who matter most to us.
We’re keeping things simple and meaningful — centered around family, good people, and the outdoors. Expect delicious food, lots of laughing, a little dancing, and plenty of time together under the stars.
Our private family ceremony will take place outdoors on the farm and will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.
The ceremony is rooted in meaningful symbolism that reflects our life together. Seating will be rustic and comfortable, and the setting simple and natural.
Please arrive a bit early so we can begin on time.
Following the ceremony, we will gather for dinner and a relaxed evening of celebration. Good food, music, dessert, a s’mores bar, and time to visit, talk, laugh.
The reception will wind down around 9:00 PM, with an optional group hike to the Hoot afterward.
Our wedding and reception are mainly outdoors. Please dress comfortably and be mindful of uneven ground. Fall layers and practical footwear are encouraged.
So we can plan food, seating, and logistics for the day.
Send your reply →Some guests will be staying with us right on the farm. If you’ve been invited to stay overnight there, we’ll reach out directly with all the details.
We also have a limited number of campground spots available for $100. To reserve a site, please send your payment via Venmo to @Carterolson194. Once your deposit is received, you’ll get a confirmation along with your assigned campsite number.
Spots are limited and will be assigned based on setup needs and groupings, so we encourage you to reserve early.
Lodging in the area can be limited and tends to fill up quickly, so we recommend booking as soon as possible and exploring nearby towns if options close to Alvwood are unavailable. If you need help finding a place to stay, we’re happy to help.
Thank you for being part of our celebration. We are grateful for you. Feel free to message us about any questions. We are both excited to see you all there.
